It began out on the water and in a museum.

We met on a boat on Biscayne Bay on a beautiful day in March—a Miami fairy tale—and we went on our first date less than a week later.

In those early days, Marcos would visit Meghan often at work at the art museum. He would bring her an iced coffee and we would sit on the terrace talking, while taking in the waterfront view of the same bay where we first met.

Work took Marcos across the country to Los Angeles and kept Meghan in Miami. We sent thousands of WhatsApps, hundreds of selfies, laughed for hours over the phone, and flew back-and-forth from coast-to-coast before eventually reuniting in the Bay Area. 

In San Francisco, we have made a home together. We’ve grown our lives, our love, and ourselves. And now, we’ll have a wedding!
